According to the Dutch website InsideGamer, in fact, the map of the game will include the entire original Red Dead Redemption’s map, of course with new areas added on top of that for the occasion.
An employee at the Dutch website called InsideGamer revealed the spoiler online. The spoiler didn’t reveal much about the story of Red Dead Redemption 2 but a major map reveal has surfaced. The Resetera user “Moz La Punk” explained how the developers confirmed this spoiler.
He described that his website, InsideGamer played Red Dead Redemption 2 for six hours. While playing they got hold of exciting news about the game’s content.
The user further writes that his editor got word from Rockstar confirming the news:
Apparently, the ENTIRE map of Red Dead Redemption is in RDR2. Rockstar confirmed this to the editor playing it. The direct quote in English: ‘When asking Rockstar, they told me the entire map of Red Dead Redemption is in the game, but of course there’s a lot of new areas as well.
Developers have not confirmed this themselves as of now. Still, if it turns out true, RDR2 would be a healthy addition to the evolution of video game map sizes.
Furthermore, the map is not the only thing Rockstar is bringing back from the original title. Woody Jackson is going to be the composer once again for Red Dead Redemption 2.
On top of all that, Red Dead Redemption 2 has all these features and many added ones too. For instance, RDR2 has hundreds of in-game decisionoptions. Moreover, the adventure game has several other features which make it a hit already.
