Join Shadow Midas in the battle against Island survivors. After being eliminated in Solo, Duos, or Squads, return to battle as a Shadow and join fellow Shadows to defeat the living. If your chance at a Victory Royale is shot down, you now have a shot at a Shadow Royale. Use your otherworldly abilities — like possessing the body of vehicles — to get a supernatural victory.
Midas and his shadowy troops arrive not only with themselves but their wicked wares as well. On the Island, you’ll find Pumpkin Rocket Launchers, Fiend Hunter Crossbows, Witch Brooms, Midas’ new invention, and even Candy (maybe that last one isn’t so wicked). Plus, complete new Challenges over the course of Fortnitemares to unlock Midas’ Shadow Wrap, the Smash-O’-Latern Pickaxe, Bobo Back Bling, and more!
If you want to take a break from battling, there are still many Fortnitemares festivities to enjoy.
In Fortnite Creative, uncover the digits of a mysterious code in featured islands from October 21 to October 24 to unearth the Wrath’s Wrath Wrap. In real life, head to fortnitemarescosplay.fortnite.com until November 3 to papercraft your own Fortnitemares cosplay and figures. And in Party Royale, join us for the Afterlife Party with a special performance by four-time Latin Grammy winner J Balvin that includes the debut of his new brand-new song ft. Sech! The Afterlife Party begins October 31 at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET) at the Main Stage.
