Sony has announced that they’ll bring some PSN games to the PS4 that were once available only on PS3 or PS Vita.
Flow, Flower, Escape Plan and Sound Shapes will arrive next month around the time of the new console’s launch.
The best part? They will be free if you already own them on their original systems. So, ‚Cross-Buy‘ is going cross generation!
Flower originally released on PS3 in 2009 from thatgamecompany, the developer behind Journey, and will port over to PS4 and Vita on November 15. Sony says that the game will run in 1080p and 60FPS, an upgrade from the PS3 version. The developer’s first game on PS3, flOw, will also be available on PS4 and PS Vita, though on November 29.
Queasy Games‘ Sound Shapes released in 2012 for PS3 and Vita. The game was already a cross-buy game before and now you’ll be able to play it on the PS4 on launch day, November 15.
