Celebrate Coldplay’s 20th Anniversary with a Rock Band Challenge

British supergroup Coldplay is in the spotlight for the next two weeks of Rock Band 4 DLC, celebrating 20 years of Coldplay from their debut album, Parachutes, to 2019’s, Everyday Life! We want to highlight this important 20-year milestone in Coldplay’s career with a special 2 week Rivals season where we will release some iconic Coldplay songs from the past and the present.

Parachute into Everyday Life

On Thursday, August 6, we’ll be releasing the Coldplay Parachutes to Everyday Life Pack, which features 4 DLC songs that represent some of the most widely beloved singles from across the band’s entire career:

• “Shiver” (from Parachutes)
• “Speed Of Sound” (from X&Y)
• “Something Just Like This” (The Chainsmokers & Coldplay)
• “Champion Of The World” (from Everyday Life)

Assemble the Crew

The party doesn’t stop here. There will also be two Rock Band Rivals bonus challenges: one this week, beginning August 6, representing the early years in which the band released albums (2000, 2002, 2005, 2008) and the next week, August 13, representing the later years that Coldplay had releases (2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019).

Don’t forget about Rock Band’s Coldplay Collection 01 featuring 6 memorable DLC songs including “Yellow,” “Clocks,” and “Viva la Vida.” With over a dozen of their songs available in the Rock Band DLC store, players can experience the breadth of the Coldplay catalog from Parachutes to Everyday Life.
