This smash-hit Roblox game from creators Ultraw and Zynkuru has found its way onto Xbox One, and if you want to make it as a restaurateur, we’ve got the ingredients to success.
Starting Your Restaurant Journey
It’s easy to get caught up in the details of your restaurant when you’re just starting out. There are so many different furniture and decoration options that you might feel the urge to spend your funds willy-nilly on things that aren’t beneficial to your business—at least not yet!
The beauty of Restaurant Tycoon 2 is that you can jump straight into the action without worrying about how everything looks. Once you’ve got a kitchen set up and a couple of tables and chairs, you can immediately start serving your diners and cooking up a batch of delicious meals. It may seem daunting at first being the only employee, but before long, you’ll have made enough money to hire your own waiters and chefs to make your restaurant even more efficient.
Work Hard, Play Hard
Just because you’ve got a few employees under you doesn’t mean you get to kick back, relax, and let the money roll in. Besides, why would you? Half the fun of the game is interacting with your guests and getting some hands-on time with your recipes in the kitchen! When you’re cooking on the line, you’ll need to tap buttons on your controller according to the recipe on the screen to create your dish. Nothing beats the rush of knocking out multiple orders in a row.
There’s another bonus when you actively manage your restaurant: skill points. For every dish you serve or cook, you’ll earn points that can be exchanged for Food and Drink Boxes to expand your menu. You only get the points when you put the work in yourself, so don’t get too dependent on your employees. They’ve got their own happiness meter to manage, too!

After you’ve gained some skill points and leveled up, now comes the time to explore the full potential of your restaurant. Restaurant Tycoon 2 features mouth-watering cuisines from cultures all over the world, like American, Italian, Japanese, African, and so much more. You can specialize in one cuisine or mix-and-match recipes for a truly global restaurant experience.
